All of the homeschool gatherings I have attended in Missouri have been a tad on the conservative side. Last year a reader mentioned she would love to attend a gathering hosted by me because she would know it would be a secular event.
That comment made me think about the possibility of maybe in a galaxy far, far away, I could someday, in the distant future, host such an event. It also helped to confirm the fact that there are other people like me who have to pick and choose what sessions to attend at area homeschool conferences to steer clear of ones that would be of no use. In the past few weeks I have been chatting with some other people who have helped to convince me to move forward with the idea.

Julie ~ Too bad you are so far away, it would be nice to get to meet. Thanks so much for the compliments about the new look of the blog. You made me smile. I am still working on tweaking it to get it all set up. After I get it all set up I will be working to learn more about WordPress to make it a little cooler.
