I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend. It has been a rainy weekend here, which has matched my mood, lol. I actually had to lay down for awhile yesterday because my head was hurting so bad. I am NOT one to lay down to take a nap during the day, but I fell asleep pretty quick yesterday. Since my head isn’t hurting as bad today, I’m catching up on everything that should have been done this weekend. I still haven’t found a way to get out of doing laundry, lol!

Up until a few days ago, I only followed moms I knew, a couple of businesses,etc. I never thought of following celebs on twitter, but now I follow one. I was sucked into the madness of Ashton Kutcher vs CNN. They were in a race to a million followers on twitter. Ok, think about that for a minute…..ONE MILLION followers…holy crap that is a lot of followers reading the tweets of one man, lol! Ashton decided to buy malaria nets if he reached a million before CNN.
Long story short, he did it. He also inspired a bunch of other celebs to donate to the cause. You can support the cause by visiting Malaria No More and making a donation to provide nets to those in need. Each net is only $10 and can save a life. Blog Updates:
Over the next few weeks you will see a variety of changes here at Heathen Homeschoolers. As I’m settling into blogging on a regular basis, I am finding things that I need to change to improve my blog. I am planning new features (like conference info, resource links, etc) that I hope you will enjoy.
I have added a contact me tab. It makes contacting me even easier. I’m going to be adding my twitter and facebook info to that page as well.
