As many of the members of our online community know, I pay to have the google ads removed from our ning site. I decided to do this because many of the homeschool ads were religious in nature. I felt that was not in keeping with our Heathen theme.
I have been exploring ways to offset this cost. I want to find ways that will help the blog and online site to be self-sufficient, but not make the both of the sites look like giant billboards.
A few of the ideas I have decided to try include selling limited ad space on both sites, book sales, “Be a Heathen” merchandise sales and more.
